Scarce 1947 Jackie Robinson Premium
Vintage 1947 color 8 x 10 of Robinson taken in his historic rookie season with the Dodgers, given as a premium that year to the PR man of the Ponce Lions team in the Puerto Rican Winter League, with whom Jackie had played the previous winter, apparently leaving hm with fond memories of the folks on the island. The studio photo, which has the look of an oil painting with its rich, smooth texture, features Jackie in his Brooklyn uniform against a hazy lime green and white backdrop, gripping a bat. Facsimile signature on the lower right side. EX with a few specks of soiling and minor wear along the edges.
