Seabiscuit Photo from Cover of Laura Hillebrand Book
This 7.25x9" type I black and white photo of Seabiscuit was the inspiration behind the cover of Laura Hillebrand's Sports Illustrated Collector's Edition book "Seabiscuit." On the back reads "Oct 28 1938" in purple as well as "SEABISCUIT" and "Horses Seabiscuit-4". There is also an attached print on the backside giving a description of where the shot was taken. An excerpt from that print reads "Seabiscuit rounding the Club House turn at Pimlico in early morning workout for his race with War Admiral on November 1st." Condition is VG-EX but displays much better.
