Seattle Slew Winning Track Record Woodward Stakes Horseshoe

Seattle Slew slayed the competition in 1977, becoming the 10th of 11 thoroughbreds to capture the Triple Crown. This race shoe was worn by the great Slew during his track record performance in the 1978 Woodward Stakes. It comes mounted inside a frame with a plaque inscribed. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed by his first trainer, Doug Peterson. After he "retired," Seattle Slew stood at stud and sired many progeny, including Swale, who won the Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes.
