Oil on board painting of Secretariat by&nbsp;nationally respected sports and equine artist Debbie Sampson. Signed by the artist in the lower right. Also signed on the front in black marker in the upper left corner by Ron Turcotte (Secretariat's jockey) and Charlie Davis (Secretariat's exercise rider), and on the reverse in black marker by Penney Chenery (owner of Secretariat). Debbie Sampson has exhibited throughout the United States, including Louisville Festival of the Arts at the Summit, Kentucky, and Arts On the Green, LaGrange, Kentucky. Influenced by LeRoy Neiman, the artist captures the grace in movement of the animal. The painting (36x48") displays a few small edge chips and is otherwise in Near Mint condition.
