Shackleford 2011 Preakness Stakes Winner's Blanket

A winner of over $3 million in his career, Shackleford is best known for his upset win in the 2011 Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course. That victory followed up a fourth-place finish in the Kentucky Derby. Shackleford's 4-year-old campaign was highlighted by wins in the Metropolitan Handicap, Clark Handicap and Churchill Downs Stakes. This white mesh blanket with black lettering and gold trim was presented to his owners in the winner's circle after his Preakness Stakes victory. The Preakness logo is emblazoned on the blanket as well.
