Signed 1949 Sport Magazine Awards Dinner Seating List
This 16-page booklet contains the complete seating arrangement for the 1949 Sport Magazine First Annual Awards Dinner, held at the Hotel Astor in New York. Along with a complete list of attendees, the booklet shows the arrangement of the dais and the individual seating arrangements for each table. Best of all, the program has been signed by 25 of the attendees, including Tris Speaker, Joe DiMaggio, Jackie Robinson and Ralph Branca. There is also a letter on Sport letterhead instructing one Luke Finley as to whom to see upon his arrival at the dinner. The program is intact and shows some age-related yellowing and staining. The signatures overall grade 8/9. LOA.
