Signed Craig Patrick Collection (2)
Important Craig Patrick lot. All belonged to Craig Patrick and came from him. Patrick was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2001 in the category of "Builder." Patrick, grandson of hockey legend Lester Patrick and part of an illustrious hockey family, had a modest playing career in the NHL, and achieved his acclaim off the ice. He was both the assistant General Manager and assistant coach to Herb Brooks for the Gold Medal winning 1980 "Miracle On Ice" hockey team, and Patrick was also the general manager of the Pittsburgh Penguins during two Stanley Cup winning seasons. 1) <span style="font-size: 10pt;">2000 Lester Patrick Awards display with program signed and inscribed by Mario Lemieux, who wrote, "To (name illegible), Best wishes, Your friend Mario Lemieux." Also signed by Craig Patrick and the other inductee Lou Vairo (signature is very faint). Also, a 6x9" matted photo of the inductees with NHL Commisioner Gary Bettman. Plus, a 2.75x7" notice of the Lester Patrick Awards. All of this gorgeously matted and framed at 22.5x24". 2) </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">2001 Hockey Hall of Fame Limited Edition medallion set presented to Craig Patrick. Framed at 17.75x21.75". Beautiful display. Features five small medals, approximately 1" in diameter, one for each of the 2001 Hockey Hall of Fame Inductees: Patrick, Viacheslav Fetisov, Jari Kurri, Mike Gartner, and Dale Hawerchuk. The display also includes a 3x7" plaque, and a 6x11" frieze of five hockey players on a hockey bench. The foregoing is all beautifully matted and framed at 17.75x21.75". </span>
