Simon & Garfunkel 1970 Album of the Year Grammy Award
One of the most coveted awards in any arena, the Grammy award is presented annually by the National Academy Of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS). This all original grammy was awarded to Simon & Garfunkel for "Bridge Over Troubled Water" in 1970. The popular duo's 1970 swan song produced 4 hit singles and this time honored tradition and symbol of excellence. Gold plate on front of the wooden podium is engraved, "National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, Simon & Garfunkel - Album of the Year - 1970 'Bridge Over Troubled Water'." Metal sculpture is antique phonograph. EX-MT condition. Stands approx. 5.5" tall.
