Skywalker Halter (Stone Farm LOA)

Skywalker Halter (Stone Farm LOA)

With an impressive eight wins in 20 career starts, thoroughbred racehorse Skywalker amassed just over $2.25 million in earnings from 1984 to '86. Highlighted by wins at the Santa Anita Derby (1985) and the Breeders Cup Classic, Skywalker was trained by Michael Whittingham and raced under the Oak Cliff Stable partnership led by Thomas Tatham. Great look to this rare halter used post-career, which has a boldly engraved nameplate and a very clean look to the leather and hardware. That is consistent with the included LOA from Stone Farm indicating that this halter was used in 1997 during Skywalker's time at the farm in Paris, Kentucky, where he resided from 1996 until his passing in 2003.
