On September 7, 1960 at Sick's Stadium in Seattle, Washington, heavyweight contenders Eddie Machen and Charles "Sonny" Liston battled to position themselves for a shot at the heavyweight title. Liston, despite being penalized three times for low blows, prevailed, winning a unanimous 12-round decision. Offered here is a very rare on-site poster for the event. The poster is cardboard picturing both fighters with crowns on their heads. Bold color and clear images. Minor edge and corner wear. Mild crease in lower right corner. Measures 22x28."
