We all know they often go together, and here's proof (mostly 86 proof). A colorful collection of 27 items guaranteed to brighten any display case, whether in den or bar. A variety of ceramic figural whiskey decanters, including 1.) two 1971 Old Blue Ribbon Whiskey hockey players, one in a red & black uniform, the other in a blue, white and gold uniform, both 14 1/2"; 2.) a 1972 unlabeled football player, red and beige uniform similar to Redskins, 14"; 3.) three Ezra Brooks 15" - 16" whiskeys, made by Heritage China, include a 1971 early tennis player, a 1973 old-time baseball player with cocked bat, and a 1973 turn-of-the century pugilist; 4.) a 1980 Kessler Whiskey old-time football player, 15" tall in a blue and beige uniform, holding a ball; 5.) four identical Hoffman Distilling Co. catcher's mitts, nicely outfitted with a stopper in the form of baseball, with "Big Red Machine" in the pocket, 11" x 9 1/2"; 6.) three different 8" x 8" Satinwood Blended Whiskey flasks feature LeRoy Neiman baseball, football, basketball artwork; 7.) two identical 1969 Jim Beam Churchill Downs / Kentucky Derby "Run for the Roses flasks, 11" and very nicely done with stunning graphics; 8.) a 1969 Jim Beam Baseball Centennial 11" flask "1869 - 1969". Banners are represented with three superb items: 1.) Carstairs "Baseball Hall of Fame", listing the best of the best in gold lettering on blue, 14" x 17" with gold braid; 2.) Superbowl History 1967 - 1987 from "Smooth as Silk" Kessler Whiskey, brown and gold on white, 22" x 22" with gold braid; 3.) also from Kessler's, "Kentucky Derby Winners, 1875 -1965", black and red on yellow, 22" x 33", gold braid. Advertising displays are well represented and include: 1.) two identical Pabst Blue Ribbon table displays, depicting an old-time prize fighter in a boxing ring with a full-size glass bottle of Pabst, mounted on a metal base measuring 10" x 7", and 15 1/2" in height; 2.) an unbelievable Blatz Beer table display, with a baseball umpire, infielder and sliding baserunner, each character a beer can, bottle or keg, mounted on a heavy 11" x 9" cast metal base, with a height of 16"; 3.) two identical 37" old-time pugilists, made of hand-painted styrofoam, with "Antique" on the faux brass belt buckle; 4.) a wall hanging Pabst Blue Ribbon "Enjoy the Old Time Flavor" display, with "Baseball's Old Time Batting Champions, 1893-1914, with a "replica" of the bat used by Home Run Baker, and a neat picture of old time batter, 12 1/2" x 21 1/2"; 5.) a wall-hanging Pabst Old Time Flavor, nice lithograph of an early football scene, 26" x 23". A wonderful addition to any collection, or a significant group to start a collection with. Condition ranges from VG - NM-MT.
