<p>The St. Louis Flyers were a minor league hockey team playing in the St. Louis Arena. They played in the American Hockey Association up through the 1941-42 season and then from 1944-45 through 1952-53 in the American Hockey League. The Flyers won the AHA North Division Championship and the League title in '41-'42, and the AHL West Division Championship in 1948-49. Playing for the Flyers in this era was Pete Conacher of the famous Conacher family. Pete later played for the New York Rangers and the Toronto Maple Leafs, and his uncles, Lionel and Roy Conacher, are in the NHL Hall of Fame.
