Stunning Roger Maris Signed 8x10 Photo With Note
Roger Maris captivated the nation with his chase of Babe Ruth's single-season home run record, and here we see the slugger watch #60 fly out of Yankee Stadium on September 26, 1961 as the Yankees edged the Orioles, 3-2. What jumps out even more than the clobbered baseball is Maris' absolute gem of a mint signature. The framed 8" x 10" photo sits atop a matted, handwritten note from the two-time American League MVP notating the origin of the photo. The frame measures 12.5" x 17" and has a couple of minor chips but is otherwise in EX condition.
