Swatch From Original Saddle Blanket Worn by Triple Crown Winner Seattle Slew in Second Career Start

Swatch From Original Saddle Blanket Worn by Triple Crown Winner Seattle Slew in Second Career Start

Included is a 5/8x5/8” portion of the black saddle blanket worn by the champion on October 5, 1976, in its second ever career start. A C.O.A is included sworn by jockey Jean Cruguet. While the affidavit states it was worn during the Belmont Stakes, the write-up refers to the allowance race. An interesting conversation piece, and collectible from Seattle Slew’s racing career.
