T206 Ty Cobb Green Background with (2) Mantle cards
Lot includes a T206 Ty Cobb green background (Piedmont back), 1956 Topps Mantle #135, 1961 Topps Mantle #300, and a 1933 Goudey Lefty Grove PSA 4. The Cobb is VG/EX at first glance with strong centering and eye appeal. Upon closer inspection you will see a small amount of paper loss on the back in two different places: right under the "P" in Piedmont and to the left of the factory that this was issued from. The paper loss in both areas is no more than a 1/4 centimeter around. The '56 Mantle is EX with a small wrinkle just to the left of his Yankee hat on the front. The '61 Mantle is VG/EX to EX. Great lot of Hall of Famers.
