These cards were issued by TCMA from 1983 through 1985 and feature the stars of the 1940s. They are done in the fashion of the popular 1940-41 Play Ball cards with all photos of players being in sepia or black and white. Of the 405 cards in the set, 228 are signed. Highlights include: Keltner, Moore, Reese, Musial, Mize, Hubbell, V. DiMaggio, Lopez, Lindell, Cramer, Walters, P. Dean, Ferrell, Lopat, Keller, Rizzuto, Reynolds, Wynn, Lemon, Spahn, Blackwell, Walker, Hatten, Kluszewski, Snider, and many more tough signatures. The cards are NRMT and signatures average 8/10.
