Ted Williams Signed Texaco Motor Oil Ad
This ad for motor oil was from a July,1950 issue of the Saturday Evening Post and features the star swatsman for the Boston Red Sox. Like many ads that date from this era, it is beautifully illustrated and there is a bold and perfectly legible signature of the legendary player written across the bat which is the central image in the ad. This is not only a great autograph but it is written on a terrific example of mid-century americana.
