The most notorious album cover of all time is undoubtedly the Beatles' original cover for their 1966 album "Yesterday and Today" . Dubbed the "Butcher" cover, it was quickly pasted over and then withdrawn completely by Capitol Records. Offered are both mono and stereo "3rd State" example Butcher covers, meaning their original Capitol Records paste-over has been meticulously peeled off to reveal the shocking image beneath. Both exhibit exceptionally clean images, the stereo example is in overall Excellent condition, the mono example is in overall VG condition with a taped spine. Both are accompanied by their original albums.
