The Beatles on Ed Sullivan Vintage Photographs (4)
Truly important images show the Beatles playing on the same televisions program that introduced them to America a year before in the largest rated television audience of all time. These delectable shots are from the rehearsal for their August 14, 1965 performance on the Ed Sullivan Show. Two show the entire band performing with cameraman stage right, one of George singing with John mugging on the keyboard, and finally a stupendous portrait of Ed Sullivan doing his classic introduction with a television monitor to the right showing the Beatles with credits overlaid reading “The Ed Sullivan Show.” The images themselves are amazing; in beautiful heavy stock, high quality fibrous paper, superb silver gelatin emulsion, and fine EX-MT condition.
