The Lowell Smith File (26 photos)

The Lowell Smith File (26 photos)

In Aviation history, Lowell Smith was the pioneer that piloted the plane that was refueled mid-air for the first time in history. In these marvelous twenty-six photographs, we are given an overview of Smith's life in spectacular black-and-white. Dating mostly from the 1920's and 30's, the photos vary in size from a huge 14x9" shot to a small 5 1/2x7" picture with fellow aviator Eric Nelson and have some touch-up marks from the publication process. The overall collection is in EX condition.
