"The Mick" Limited Edition Silk Screen on Canvas by Steve Kaufman
Worlds collide in this massive 40x40" Limited Edition silk screen canvas by Steve Kaufman. A protege of famed pop artist Andy Warhol, Kaufman captured the playful side of baseball icon Mickey Mantle in this giant tribute to the diamond great. Warhol's influence is immediately felt upon seeing it, as a stark blue background really brings "The Mick" to life, accented with cartoonish features. The back has been signed by Kaufman, nicknamed SAK by Warhol, and the piece is hand-numbered 14/500. There are a few small abrasions to the surface but it is still in Excellent condition.
