The NYRA Archive of Horse Racing Photographs (500+)
Spectacular collection of original photographs from the archives of the New York Racing Authority (NYRA) dating from 1940s to modern. Over 500 photos include a majority of winner’s circle montage images (most full color), but also many publicity and wire photos. There are many oversized 11x14"s (about 100+). Over 90% are from NYRA stakes of which a large number were won by Eclipse Award Champions. Most are Type I, all are top horses, top races and the top jockeys including Cordero and Turcotte. The top races are here: Belmont Stakes (final leg of the TC), Travers Stakes (Mid-Summer Derby), and of the most prestigious races from Belmont, Saratoga and Aqueduct. All are in top quality binders for perfect preservation. This is a killer one-of-a-kind collection.
