One of the truly great autographed baseballs extant, it is the only authenticated one known to to exist, signed by auto pioneer and corporate icon Henry Ford. Recently discovered in an attic in New Jersey, it was brought to us at the recent 2016 National Sports Collectors Convention in Atlantic City, New Jersey. A stunning and important find, the ball was authenticated on site by James Spence of JSA. The autograph is without par and even the custom-made baseball is itself simply amazing. From the 25th Anniversary of Henry Ford Company, it is custom imprinted, “Ford Safety Glass Exhibit 1903-1933” with an added and quite unusual “V8” logo. Signatures: Henry Ford, one of the greatest race car drivers in history Ralph DePalma (d. 1956), and the following Ford engineers: E. (Emil) Zoerlein (Ford engineer), S.F. Hill, Don Cassis, & F.J. (Frederick) Groven (Ford inventor). Overall strong EX-MT the Ford signature is a 9/10.
