The Patrick Family Scrapbook

The Patrick Family Scrapbook

A hulking tome dedicated to the preservation of memories from the Patrick family, one of hockey's proudest and most well known lineages. The scrapbook was started in 1931 and covers the entire century of the Patrick legacy, which saw five of its members win the Stanley Cup, and ends with Craig Patrick, from whom the scrapbook was acquired. It contains hundreds of news clippings - some mounted on the pages and some loose - as well as original photos, real photo postcards and other family mementos and ephemera. Some very early and one of a kind items from the first family of hockey can be found in this treasure trove of memorabilia. The Patrick legacy is still alive today in the form of the Lester Patrick Trophy, which is given to one recipient each year for their contribution to hockey in the United States.
