The Three Dominant Jockeys of the 19th Century Oil on Canvas by H. Wolff - Fred Archer, George Fordham & Nat Flatman

The Three Dominant Jockeys of the 19th Century Oil on Canvas by H. Wolff - Fred Archer, George Fordham & Nat Flatman

This spectacular scene was painted by noted German artist H. Wolff. Depicts exceptional pastoral view with the three dominant jockeys of the 19th Century: Fred Archer, George Fordham and Nat Flatman. They are shown in a pasture scene as if the three alone were to compete in a fantasy "Race of Champions." Signed by the artist at lower left, it measures 19x26" with some scuffing and a small tear which can be repaired. Interestingly, painted by a German for the British market.
