The Trail of The Stanley Cup Volumes 1-3

The Trail of The Stanley Cup Volumes 1-3

So you think you're a hockey aficionado? Not until you own this three-volume "Trail of the Stanley Cup" collection, which is the most exhaustive history of the NHL through 1967. Written by Charles L. Coleman and published by the league in '66, '69 and '76, each book devotes over 800 pages to summaries, standings, game stories, photos and illustrations by the author. Vol. 1 covers 1893-1926, Vol. 2 1927-46 and Vol. 3 1947-67. Presented to Owen Griffith, the sports editor for the Hartford Courant Newspaper, this is #537 of 1,000 copies for volumes 1 and 2. The slip cases have splits and tears, but the books are in EX condition. Several articles are affixed to the blank pages in the front of Volume 1. Volume 3 is a blue cover edition that is not limited. The quintessential collection!
