Triple Crown Winner, Omaha, & Equipoise, Important Racehorses of The 1930s (35)

Triple Crown Winner, Omaha, & Equipoise, Important Racehorses of The 1930s (35)

This is a great opportunity to obtain historic and extremely rare memorabilia, contained in an archival album, from two of the greatest thoroughbreds of all-time. The following photographs are of other racehorses that excelled in the 1930s besides War Admiral and Seabiscuit. The condition is excellent and better on most of the photographs representing hard to find pictures of these thoroughbreds, both of which are in the Museum of Racing’s Hall of fame. Omaha (23 photos), winner of America’s TC, was trained by “Sunny Jim” Fitzsimmons. Equipoise (12 photos), won the Pimlico Futurity after being left at the post, and having run out of two shoes, rallied to defeat the famous racehorse Twenty Grand.
