Two 1930s Dick Calkins Dailys w/Buck Rogers (2)
Two dailys are both exceptional examples: 1) Buck Rogers strip has all key components. Wilma Deering is "standing off a mob of pirates" dressed in "headlights" bikini portending the Princess Leia slave girl outfit of Return of the Jedi. Another panel she says, "I'm g g glad you c c came." Moves on to large Buck Rogers image & Professor Stoddard plus disintegrating ray guns and futuristic airships. Inscribed to Don Komisaro. 2) Skyroads Flying Club/School is heavy on aviation scenes and boasts Big Lady Killer on wing stating, "You Dummy -- I'd like to shake you." Great pair.
