Two 1969 Mickey Mantle Day Ticket Stubs (SGC)
This scarce tickets are from the day The Mick finally called it a career, Mickey Mantle was honored at Yankee Stadium with his iconic #7 uniform retired between games of a doubleheader sweep of the White Sox on June 8, 1969. Here are two ticket stubs from the twin bill and from two different sections of the Stadium. The Bronx Bombers paid tribute to the legend by winning the first game, 3-1, and completing the sweep with an 11-3 drubbing in the nightcap. They have been SGC graded Authentic.
