Ty Cobb Signed Handwritten Letter with Baseball Content
This handwritten letter from Ty Cobb on his own letterhead is a note to Yankees executive Robert Fishel regarding Cobb's attendance at Yankee Stadium's Old Timers' Day. Dated 5/22/55 and written in green ink, this piece has stayed in remarkably good shape for its age, with little yellowing of the paper and only two standard envelope folds. It has been framed to 11 x 14", and is signed "Sincerely, Ty Cobb" at the bottom.
