Ty Cobb, a giant in life, is captured in this 9 1/2 x 12 5/8” oversized signed photo. With an uncharacteristic smile and gaze directed away from the camera, this B&W photo of the baseball legend, well-dressed in fedora, bow tie, and sweater, with golf club in hand, is truly classic. The authentic inscription to the right of the image reads, “To Beulah - ‘In Sincere Friendship’ - Ty”. In pencil on the lower right, cream-colored border is “Montell”. There are tiny creases along the upper border that do not take away from the near mint photo of the smiling Ty Cobb. The blank back of the photo is clean as well. LOA.
