Signed copy of what may be the most famous photograph ever taken of the Georgia Peach, one that best characterizes the man's competitive fire. Cobb, jaw clenched and body in a battering-ram position, barrels into the base under the lifted leg of the fielder somehow must concentrate on catching the ball amid an explosion of dirt rising under him. Cobb signed the photo, "To Lee Sawaya From Ty Cobb" in blue pen, and this is also one of the very best Cobb signatures around, with a large enthusiastic arc on the "T" and underlined with a flourish.
