Ultimate Bee-Hive Hockey Photo Collection
In 1934 The St. Lawrence Starch Co. of Pt. Cedit, Ont. offered premium black and white photos of NHL players. Sets were divided into three groups 1934-43, 1944-63 and 1964-67 ( over 1,000 photos). These sets are recognized by the name Bee-Hive photos, due to the syrup product most collectors sent the labels from. This fantastic lot consists of all three sets over 95% complete and in NRMT/MT condition. All photos are mounted on original matting. Featured are such rarities as Dave Mackay, Howie Morentz, Gaye Stewart, Gus Marker, Wally Stanowski, 1944-45 Leafs team photo and the never seen complete set of clothe team patches. All in all, over 950 photos in this once in a lifetime monster collection.
