Very Early Photo of Madison Square Garden (Ex-Izzy Kaplan)
The first Madison Square Garden opened its doors in 1875 and there have been many incarnations and renovations since then. This 8x10" linen-backed photo by Browning Studios depicts the back of the building known as MSG III, which existed between 1925 and 1968. Most notable in the image are the vintage cars and dirt street. The photo has a bit of staining, and there are some border corner creases.
