Vintage 1986 New York Mets Team Signed baseball
This baseball is signed by 28 of the 1986 World Champion New York Mets, on a Charles S. "Chub" Feeney Official Rawlings National League Baseball. The 1986 Mets had a magical run through the post season, beating the Houston Astros 7-6 in a 17 inning thriller to clinch the league championship that legendary Mets announcer Bob Murphy capped with a weary, "The Mets win the damn game!" Next up was the Boston Red Sox in the World Series, a series that was destined to become legendary for the Mets game 6 comeback which was culminated by Mookie Wilson's dribbler that spun through the legs of an injured Bill Buckner and scored Ray Knight with the game winner. The ball has toned all signatures, which rate 8/9, with a lone signature grading 4.
