This vintage collection of 50 colorful postcards represents some of the most celebrated horses and revered racetracks in the sport of racing. The generous collection includes the majority of cards likely dating back to the 30s, 40s, and 50s and multiple cards featuring the great Man o’ War (4), Citation (3), and famed Florida stallion Rough and Tumble. The large variety of famed tracks featured in the collection includes: Charlestown; Churchill Downs (5); Gulfstream Park; Hollywood Park (3); Pimlico (4), Saratoga, and Santa Anita Park, as well as the long lost tracks such as Agua Caliente (5), Hialeah, Washington Park, Suffolk Park, and Yonkers. There is also a series of older cards featuring Keeneland and the Kentucky Racing and Trotting Association, and several other more obscure racing-related venues.
