Waite Hoyt Letter w/ Babe Ruth and Walter Johnson Content

Waite Hoyt Letter w/ Babe Ruth and Walter Johnson Content

Very interesting letter signed by Waite Hoyt.  In this letter Hoyt mentions other ball players and his experiences with them.  He mentions that Babe Ruth was a fun loving guy who was very well liked by most of the players in baseball.  He goes on to say that in his prime, he was not fat and was the best all around player.  Most notably, Hoyt claims that Ruth was "the savior of baseball--and the players today owe him a great deal."  7" x 10".
