Walter Johnson Signed Handwritten Letter
1930’s Walter Johnson Handwritten and signed letter. The letter scripted on Dr. Pepper Bottling Co. letterhead in his native Washington, D.C., is written to a Mr. Bohrer in response to a request for autographs. The letter is written in black fountain pen ink which averages 7/10 for boldness. The letter has the original mailing fold lines and an earlier collector has removed the empty bottom third of the note. This is an EX signature from the Big Train, known as the elite fast ball pitcher from the first half of the 20th century. LOA
