The letter scripted on Dr. Pepper Bottling Co. letterhead in his native Washington, D.C., is written to a Mr. Bohrer in response to a request for autographs. The letter is written in black fountain pen ink which averages 7/10 for boldness. The letter has the original mailing fold lines and an earlier collector has removed the empty bottom third of the note.
