Here's a splendid print of "The Big Train" - Walter Johnson - behind the WJSV microphone in Washington, where he gained his fame on the diamond with the Senators. The 7x10" photo is framed and matted and appears EX-MT. Signature in black fountain ink rates 7.5/10; JSA LOA is included. Johnson is regarded as one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball history, having amassed a record 110 shutouts. He also led the major leagues in strikeouts in 12 different seasons, a feat that has never been equaled. Radio station WJSV used those call letters from 1929 to 1943 before changing to WTOP, by which it is still known today.
