Warren Cromartie 1985 Japan All Star Award and 1989 Giants Game Used Jacket
When this six foot Florida native arrived in Japan at the age of 31, he was proclaimed the "Messiah" of the Yomiuri franchise. To his teammates though, he was truly was a real giant. The right-handed slugger, and former-Expo, hit 30+ home runs in each of his first three seasons overseas and earned his second spot on their All-Star squad in '85. To mark the occasion he was presented with this 9.5" trophy with engraved copper plate that reads, "All Star Game-Mr. Waren [sic] Cromartie-from Commissioner-1985". EX-EX+. His black and orange reversible team jacket shows heavy wear and is without tagging. The left breast displays Yomiuri's "YG" team logo. A scarcely seen pairing from the ever popular Japanese League.
