Waste Basket Decorated With Vintage Baseball Tickets
You've heard of trash talking. How about a little trash ticketing? This curious keepsake was created by baseball lifer Johnny Nuen, who played, managed and scouted in the major leagues for teams such as the Tigers and Yankees. Over 50 ticket stubs from World Series games between 1946 and '56 are glued to a metal trash can, which comes with a signed note in which Nuen states: "This basket is covered with World Series stubs (rain checks) from the many games I have seen over the years when doing WS scouting for the New York Yankees." Most of the stubs, which include All-Star games from 1949 and 1956 and 1958, are trimmed. Even the inside is lined. VG condition.
