Wayne Gretzky’s 1987 Edmonton Oilers Team Jacket
Wayne Gretzky’s personal nylon lined spring and fall style jacket in Oilers colors produced by Sprung Sportswear. Sprung supplied the team outerwear to the Oilers in 1987 and produced a team photo poster showing the entire roster wearing these jackets. This jacket was worn by Wayne and was acquired directly from a former member of the Oilers training staff. The Sprung company tag is sewn in the neck and a piece of white athletic tape with “99” in blue marker covers the washing instructions tag. An embroidered Oilers patch is sewn on the left breast. Comes with a photo of Wayne and the rest of the Oilers wearing these exact jackets. In excellent condition.
