Stunning set of four images by famed sports artist Stephen Holland follows the career of the great Wayne Gretzky. From the glory days of the Edmonton Oilers and the thrilling Canada cup victories to the Los Angeles limelight and his swan song with the Rangers, Holland has captured the essence of the man and his game. The original limited edition of 99 with 15 artist proofs sold out very quickly. This series is a matched set, each numbered “EA 3/3” (Epreuve D’artist), a special Artist Proof Edition presented to Wayne by the artist. Each print has been hand signed by Gretzky and these four examples come directly from his personal collection. Art gallery retail price lists show the artist proof edition valued at $10,000 per print or $40,000 for the set. The winning bidder of this amazing artwork will also receive the accompanying Letter of Authenticity signed by Wayne Gretzky. Proceeds from this collection will go directly to the Wayne Gretzky Foundation, the Great One's new charitable organization dedicated to providing youth throughout North America with the opportunity to experience hockey.
