Willie Mays 3,000 Hit Ticket
This comes from the day Willie Mays recorded #3,000 - July 18, 1970 in San Francisco. The VIP-quality location is from Section 3, Row 2, Seat 3. The 10th member of this exclusive club, Mays stroked a single off of Montreal Expos pitcher Mike Wegener, and became the first man to reach #3,000 on the West Coast and just two months after fellow slugger Hank Aaron had joined the club. A VERY tough ticket as many people did not save these at the time. It is a nice-sized stub with an small extra piece at the end. Some slight soiling, the back is NRMT, overall EX+. Slabbed by PSA "Authentic."
