Willy Wonka Oompa Loompa Costume
Worn in the film by one of the vertically challenged employees of Mr. Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Director Mel Stuart came up with this unique look when pressed by the film producer's to be careful of political correctness. Even though author Roald Dahl originally referred to them as "pigmies imported from Africa," these little people came complete with orange faces and green hair!
