Woodstock Gold Record
The Woodstock 3-LP set (1970, Cotillion Records SD3-500) let everyone relive that weekend of peace, love and music, but without the mud. The package came in an elaborate three-panel gatefold sleeve with a distorted photograph of the stage and the vast crowd and the tracks included Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, CSN, and Jefferson Airplane. This gold record was given to promotion man Brian Interland. It has the RIAA plaque and the LP's cover of a young couple embracing in the midst of chaos. Mint.
