(3)Rare Cuban Baseball Books & (3) Rare Photographs of Club Atletico de Oriente From 1915
Three extremely desirable and next to impossible to find old baseball books from Cuba. 1) "El Base-Ball en la Habana, Matanzas y Cardenas 1878-1907" by Raul Diez Muro. First edition, 160 pages, published in 1907. Condition is EX-MT. 2) "Los Nueve Ceros En Cuba Por Un Viejo Aficionado." Documents every shutout in the history of Cuban baseball from 1878 to 1911. Condition is EX with some wear to the title page. 3) Rare program from an exhibition game between the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Giants in Cuba. Entitled, "Souvenir Gran Stadium Cerveza Tropical Temporada Americana 1937" with fabulous Bill Terry cover. Condition is EX+, with minimal wear to the front and back cover. Plus, there are three photographs of Club Atletico de Oriente from 1915. They measure 4.5" x 6 24/32.” Condition is EX-MT+ on the front. There is minimal paper stock attached to the reverse from a previous mounting.
