0/5/97 Marcus Allen Photo-Matched Kansas City Chiefs Final Season Signed Game Worn Jersey - His First Matched Jersey to Surface! (Davious Sports Photo-Matched LOA & Sources from Allen Himself)
From his final season in the NFL and his last head-to-head matchup against Dan Marino, comes Marcus Allen's first photo-matched game worn jersey to be offered in a public auction. Worn by the Hall of Fame legend on October 5th, 1997 against the Miami Dolphins, this bright red Reebok size 46 jersey is complete with all manufacturers tagging in the collar including "100% Nylon Skill -3" flag along with "1997 Pro Line Reebok Authentic" tagging on the outside front tail. The famous "32" is found across the chest, on both shoulders and just below "ALLEN" across the back; all in white on yellow tackle twill. Interestingly, Kansas City's equipment manager even documented this jersey by writing "Miami - 10-5-97" inside the front tail! Not only is this the first Marcus Allen photo-matched jersey ever listed in a public auction, it's also consigned by a close friend of Marcus Allen who got the jersey DIRECTLY from Allen himself! Unwashed and with plenty of to be expected heavy wear, this fine example is loaded with loose threads, abrasions, multiple dirt and grass stains found on the front, back and numbers. Signed and inscribed "Game Used" and "1997" on back #3 perfectly in black sharpie. It is becoming harder and harder to find a "top tier" game worn photo-matched NFL jersey like this specimen, so this is a rare opportunity that should be taken advantage of. Comes with Davious Sports Photo-Matching LOA.
