001 New England Patriots Super Bowl XXXVI Championship Ring Presented to Player Je'Rod Cherry
Ornate championship ring presented to New England Patriots safety Je'Rod Cherry in recognition of his team's 2001 Super Bowl victory. Of course, that season marked the onset of the Tom Brady era, as he took the helm of an 0-2 team after Drew Bledsoe's injury and took his first step toward professional sports legend. The ring was produced by Jostens and is 14-karat white gold. Magnificent piece has a football-shaped genuine diamond on each side of the bezel and includes 42 diamonds in representation of the team's 42nd anniversary. Ring face is highlighted by a relief of the Vince Lombardi trophy with a large marquis-shaped diamond and two tapered baguette diamonds. Size 12 ring weighs approximately 70 grams with left shank bearing Cherry's name along with his number 30, and TEAM is engraved along with the Pats' logo and team record of 14-5. Right shank contains the year and another relief of the Lombardi Trophy with yet another diamond in the football spot atop, SB XXXVI logo, and Pats 20-Rams 17 with a relief of Foxboro Stadium above a USA inscription. Band has Jostens 14K engraved, total diamond weight is approximately 2.25 carats and comes with appraiser's documentation. Ring is in EX-NM condition with minor use displayed.
