014 Mike Trout Anaheim Angels Signed Inscribed Game Used Bat from First MVP Season! (PSA GU 10 & Anderson Authentics)

<p>Mike Trout Old Hickory pro-model (MT27*) bat dating from his first MVP season in 2014. Graded GU 10 by PSA. This is one of the finest Mike Trout game-used bats we have ever offered, especially given its provenance. In addition to having achieved a perfect grade by PSA, the bat is accompanied by an LOA (on Anderson Authentics letterhead) signed by Trout in which he attests to its game-used provenance. Trout has also affirmed its game-used status a second time by signing the bat in silver paint pen on the sweet spot of the barrel, where he has added the notation "14 G/U MVP."</p><p>The cupped-end bat, which is not cracked, measures 33.5 inches and weighs 31.5 ounces. Excellent use is displayed throughout, including ball marks, cleat marks, pine tar, and a wrap of tape on the knob and lower handle. A ring impression, made by a weighted batting donut, is also visible on the barrel. 2014 was just Trout's third full season in the Majors, but he was already established as one of the game's best all-round players. Trout batted .287 with 36 home runs and a league-leading and career-high 111 RBI for the Angels in 2014. Those numbers, along with his league-leading 115 runs and 338 total bases, earned him the first of his three MVP Awards at season's end. Trout has currently amassed 1,543 hits, 350 home runs, and 896 RBI, not to mention a .303 batting average and a .415 on-base percentage, all of which have been achieved in basically just nine full seasons. If that trajectory continues, he very well may match Mariano Rivera's record of being unanimously elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame when his day comes. Full LOAs from PSA (GU 10) and Mike Trout (Anderson Authentics - corresponding hologram label on knob).</p>
